Charges made to your credit card will be listed on your statement as "Remarkable Systems, Inc."
Remarkable Systems®, Inc. (RSI) uses the latest technology to protect your credit card information and does not release it to any outside organization. We provide industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol with 256-bit encryption to ensure the safety and security of all data.
We will not rent or sell your name, address, email address, credit card information, or personal information to any third party without your permission. However, we must cooperate fully should a situation arise where we are required by law or legal process to provide information about a customer. RSI has maintained this policy without exception since 1992.
RSI uses the latest encryption technology and other methods to protect your credit card information. All interactions on our website — including payment information during the ordering process — utilize end-to-end SSL encryption (the Internet standard for secure transactions).
While receiving our software service, you will be billed at your requested rate upon sign-up and every 30 days thereafter until cancellation. Billings are not dependent on program usage and are billed in whole blocks of 500 children/families, whichever is greater. Subscription plan changes may incur a nominal fee.
Except for the first 60 days, we do not provide refunds, but will provide service through any paid period as requested upon cancellation. Upon notifying RSI of your desire to cancel services, or if payment has been declined and the account has not been reinstated for at least 30 days, your account and its data are subject to permanent system removal.
A "month" is defined as a 30-day period. Given that some months have more than 30 days, it is possible for your billing cycle to be billed twice in the same calendar month (e.g. the 1st and 31st — 30 days apart). This is not an error. Billing takes place at sign-up and recurs every 30 days, regardless of the calendar month in which that period falls.
Unless your business has a special agreement with RSI, ChildWatch® is a month-to-month service and may be cancelled at any time by either party. Any service agreement terms take precedence over this online policy.
Online policy and terms supplement contractual agreements and EULA (End-User License Agreement). In the event of a conflict, contractual agreements take precedence over online terms. Agreements are typically reserved for multi-childcare customers.
RSI is unable to offer refunds for purchases or payments made outside of the money-back guarantee period. Payments are final unless otherwise indicated. This policy is consistent with major software retailers nationwide and is fair to both parties.
Our mobile apps are available to subscribing customers (childcares) and, where applicable, freely available to their customers (parents). Our apps do not collect or share personal information. Upon installation, we identify the entity or individual in order to connect the appropriate subscribing account and feature type. Logs are maintained internally to support device activation, transaction processing history, and similar functions.
Device type, model, and unique ID may be collected to better serve the user and to allow administrators to restrict device access in the event of device compromise or account closure. All sensitive data are fully encrypted before being stored on devices or transmitted to our servers.
RSI strives for 100% customer satisfaction. For first-time customers only, within the first 60 days of service you may cancel your subscription and receive a full refund of your subscription fee within 10 business days of receiving notification. To cancel, simply call or email our support department. You will receive confirmation of your request within 1 business day.
Note that any contractual terms (e.g. sponsorship agreements) take precedence over our online policy. To make a cancellation request official, you must retain a confirmed notice from RSI (e.g. email or fax).
We assess a $25 returned check fee if your bank does not honor payment. We reserve the right to charge your overdue balance plus any fees to the credit card or checking account we maintain on file. RSI will, to the fullest extent of the law, pursue those who make purchases with no intention of paying.
We reserve the right to submit the names of non-paying customers to credit bureaus and check systems. If you have questions about a charge processed by Remarkable Systems, Inc., please call us first at (800) 824-7741 before disputing the charge.
Our policy is intended to provide you with the safest and most secure experience possible. Since offerings and technologies change, we reserve the right to modify, add, or remove portions of our Privacy Policy at any time without prior notice. If changes are substantial, we will notify customers via email. Please periodically review this page for updates.
