What is changing in the new ChildWatch?
Automated billing
Current ChildWatch billing requires manual triggering. ChildWatch is being designed around configured billing rules that can run automatically.
Account aging and outstanding A/R
New account aging and receivables views are planned to help identify unpaid balances, older charges, and accounts that need follow-up.
Staff app beyond Classroom Manager
The new Staff app is planned to replace and surpass today’s Classroom Manager with smoother classroom activity, attendance, and staff workflows.
Better family access
Parent tools, balances, payments, communication, family records, and routine account tasks are being redesigned for a more connected family experience.
Multi-language support
ChildWatch is being planned to support multiple languages, starting with Spanish and designed to grow to additional languages over time for families and staff.
In-depth CACFP and food program tools
CACFP is planned to move far beyond the present ChildWatch tools, with meal capture, food nutrition, menus, claims reconciliation, amendments, disallowances, shopping lists, sponsor/site review, and more.
Smarter follow-up and review
ChildWatch is being planned around clearer reminders, exceptions, review queues, and operational follow-up so important tasks are easier to find and finish.

Over the coming months, RSI will give a limited number of customers the opportunity to see and test the new ChildWatch while it is still under development. The goal is to gather meaningful feedback, improve the system carefully, and avoid rushing quality.
